While interesting, I think I'll have to pass on the duo thread only because I have little faith in myself that I'll be able to keep up without getting completely and utterly confused |D It just makes me think of playing two characters at once in the same thread and I was never able to do that ;;

HOWEVER! If we ever wanna do a past thread (if we decide to even go that route) we can do that another time. So present thread it is! Like I said, it wont be much different for Ry either way cause given the time frame, he certainly wont remember her face, let alone her name. In any case, we can start with them not knowing each other and if we decide we want them to have history, you can totally say she remembers his stupid face eventually.

Now that that's somewhat settled, where would you like this to take place?? I can try posting the starter after I get back from town but if you wanna go ahead and do it yourself I certainly wont object to it *shot*

Could these two ever become friends or partners?! Jack takes things, say for his own benefit or even for others who ask him to. I don't know where exactly Jack would fit into Ryder's underground life, but he's a homeless kid looking for places to be and things to do, so seeing Ryder as a kind of rolemodel would take him a long way. It'd be kinda funny if he gets hauled off by the cops or busted for something and Ryder just shrugs it off or facepalms or something later. Though I'm not sure, Ryder's double life is something Jack would be interested in for sure, at least what he does in the dark. What do you think? :3

As long as Jack doesn't mind Ryder potentially forgetting his name often, I could see these two being fun friends.I imagine if they happened to get close enough though, Ryder might treat him like a little brother and make the role model thing happen (he'd be an awful role model tho), maybe even offer him a place to stay if he found out he was in fact homeless. Of course it wouldn't be free cause Ry isn't that nice, but he'd make sure the kid didn't get into too much trouble and might even bail him out if he was feeling awfully generous one day or scold him for the wrong reasons and whatnot "If you are gonna steal, don't get caught, dumbass."

BUT YEAH! I'd love if these two got to interact uwu And maybe if Ry got desperate enough for cash, he might help Jack out with the whole bandit business (might as well use that move thief for something lol).

That is literally everything I ever want for these two, you won the internet. Ten points to gryffindor! Seriously though, I'd love to get these two together pronto! How to have them introduced to one another is something else entirely. Maybe Jack finds himself at one of Ryder's battles and sees him in action? Or maybe they bump into each other around town after dark and get to talking then roll from there? There's a lot of possibilities, and I'm really happy you like the prospect thus far. x3

Before any of the really cool stuff happens we gotta get these two introduced~ Where do you think Ryder would be hanging around on his own? Jack could be kinda anywhere at any time, so it's up to you where we'd like to have these guys meet up. I can come up with basically any excuse for Jack since he's bored and has nothing better to do than wander aimlessly. xD How's that sound? I'd be more than happy to roll with anything. =D

Hooray! \o/ Ryder will literally hang out anywhere outside of campus because he's not at all interested in returning there unless he has to xD If we wanna have him meet during/after one of his battles tho, I've been eyeballing the laboratories as a potential setting for underground fighting. Other than that, any place will do really cause Ryder will interact with anything that catches his attention (or approaches him if Jack is likely to do that).

Hell, if you want Jack to try and steal from him to be their first impression we can do that too because Ry isn't one to hold grudges over such little things (He's the type of person who'd help a theif look for something valuable if they broke into his house because there is literally nothing there *shot*). He'd just be like "Dude... Who taught you how to steal? You've got to do better than that!"

they're both big flirts, and have their hands in some shady shit. i can definitely see them crossing paths, mainly because borealis (he would know her as "lights" since that's the name she uses when being shady) has a side gig helping manage the money and betting with the underground fighting rings in town, among other ventures. they would definitely know each other, and i could see their attitudes making them at least friendly towards one another. they wouldn't be close by any means, but i could definitely see her being a sassy flirt and picking on him or whatever when she sees him. whether or not they hang out in the 'real world' is up to you, but honestly they seem like they would get along to me. of course he would have to deal with absolute 180 degree evasive maneuver if he ever asked her anything too personal until she trusted him. she doesn't give up information about herself that could be used against her.

tl;dr: they know each other from the underground fighting rings where she manages the betting money. they sometimes flirt and are generally sassy to one another when they see each other.

This could definitely work! While I agree, they wouldn't be too close, they'd be close enough to where they could play nice when they run into each other and flirt a bit. I don't know about the real world though, unless of course over time they did get closer to where he felt like he could trust her enough, but even if that doesn't happen, I'm sure they'll be tons of fun when they do get to interact uwu

As far as getting her trust, I don't imagine Ry will be too pushy about getting personal facts. Sure, he'd be curious, and he might cause her to retract a bit from time to time on accident, but he figures if he's meant to know, she'd tell him eventually. He understands the whole need for secrets so I'm sure he'd respect her privacy for the most part, unless she's just acting really weird and hiding something cause then he might be an ass lol

OVERALL, yeah, I'm cool with this idea! Ry thinks she's hot and is attracted to the fact that she also dwells in the shady parts of town. Birds of a feather stick together and whatnot.

mwahahha, this sounds like so much fun. i'm really excited to see them interact. i love a good ol' sassy friendship. she wouldn't make him feel awkward if he got too close to personal info. she basically just completely changes the subject. hopefully one day they'd make good friends, but for now we'll just let them handle what we're throwing at them haha.
