While Zeroun is quite eager to help students figure out what they're good at and enjoy, putting forth a lot of effort, he's just as happy to kick back, relax, and observe the young female athletes from a distance as well (though he doesn't usually openly do this, nor will he admit to doing it).
Using his psychic abilities, he's able to control his Substitute and allow himself to be in two places at once, being fully aware of both himself and his Substitute.
For being older, he's still quite agile and although he may move around and look like an old man, he can keep up with students a quarter his age.
