▸ Addie comes from a long line of talented coordinators, and her mother began pushing her into competitions at an early age. As a child, Addie was cute, candid, and charming (with a very experienced coach), so it was little wonder when she came away with various awards and was hailed as a 'natural'. But once she got older and started getting into real competitions, it became clear that skating by on her natural charm wasn't going to cut it. Addie is driven and loves to win. Despite what people might think about coordinators, winning requires effort. While the press continues to treat her like some sort of "genius", she actually works very hard and spends hours upon hours practicing her routines and perfecting her look. Addie wakes up early every morning to spend at least an hour working out, curling her hair, and doing her make-up. She hates it when people act like she's got it easy just because she's pretty. Like geeze, looking this good requires effort too, y'know.

▸ Addie's incredibly self-absorbed. She doesn't really pay much attention to other people except regarding their relationship with her or their impact on her life. She tends to put herself first and very rarely extends her consideration to include the well-being of other people. However, she doesn't do this maliciously. She's not known for being mean to others, rather, she has a reputation for primarily being vapid and narcissistic. The fact of the matter is though, she's just so wrapped up in herself that she's never really considered the fact that other people might have opinions or feelings different from her own. She was spoiled by her mother and is so accustomed to getting her way that she's honestly startled when people disagree with her. She expects everyone to hold themselves to the same standards as she holds herself in terms of looks and behavior.

▸ Addie's not half as dumb as people think she is. Yeah, she's cheerful and cares about her looks, but that doesn't mean she exchanged her brain for bigger boobs! She focuses most of her smarts on researching fashion and make-up and performance techniques, rather than history or other nerdy junk, so a lot of her interests and conversations come across as shallow and materialistic. However, she doesn't mind having a reputation as a dumb bimbo. After all, guys think it's cute and her competition tends to underestimate her. Besides, if other people think she's dumb based on the way she talks and acts, well, so what? Why should she have to change? She doesn't need their approval. After being the victim of many unsavory rumors over the years (some of which may have been true), she's developed a thick skin and doesn't really care about any of the gossip or slander about her.

▸ Addie's very competitive. She wants to be the best like no one ever was, so she hates losing and hates when other people show her up or make her look bad. She's occasionally prone to petty outbursts when she loses, attacking people's looks or other easy targets to hit them where it hurts. She gets jealous whenever someone is better at something than her (especially things she's good at) and tends to hold it against them. However, she's also works hard to beat them (even if she's hopelessly outclassed). Addie'll use what she can to her advantage -- for example, if she can convince a guy to do something for her with a little flirting, well, she's only using her most valuable assets! After all, if you're gonna give it your all, you gotta use everything you have, right?

▸ Addie's also pretty blunt. She says whatever she's thinking, even if it's rude. She also isn't afraid to do whatever she wants whenever she wants. She wants to talk to the cute boy across the room? She'll walk up to him and say hello. Someone stranger's outfit is ugly? She'll tell them it's ugly. After all, Addie would want someone to tell her if she looked bad! A lot of the logic behind her actions is based on the fact that Addie prefers to put things out in the open -- why dance around things or avoid them? If she wants something, she'll take it. Unfortunately, she applies this logic to other people who may not feel the same way. Her friend has a crush? She tells the crush. What's the point in hiding it? Either the feeling is mutual or it isn't. Addie is not so great at keeping secrets because she doesn't really see the point, but her bluntness and flirtatiousness really limits her close female friend pool.
