Artemis was never one to follow daddy's rules, let alone the school's. While she managed to make it through that awful waste of an education, she never did quite manage to mature from the experience. While her late teenage years were rocky and riddled with constant, late-night street fights and trouble-seeking, her early twenties would offer a new insight to do something good with what she had taught herself in terms of controlling her abilities and her attitude. She managed to put that bad to good, offering herself to the university in terms of keeping trouble away from the environment.
With a clean act that was being scrubbed every day, she finally invested in a second job at the university as a battle professor-- self defense, attack, same thing. As long as they learn what they can do and how to control it, she's happy enough.
