Nikolai is just a little bit masochistic. Just a little. He keeps it hidden well enough, and won't admit it out loud, but he's a bit of a sucker for a little pain. It's probably one of the reasons he gets into so many fights.
Nikolai's younger brother is his whole world. Their parents weren't the best out there, and hardly had the time for two sons (except when exhibiting them to friends and colleagues, or perhaps as successors to the Allegri name). Nikolai practically raised his younger brother on his own and would probably die for him if necessary.
He has a small tendency to heat his body to ridiculous temperatures without noticing, particularly when he's excited. Sometimes he'll even steam from the top of his his head and his shoulders, kind of like a teapot. Touching him in this state is a bit like touching a heater. It's unpleasant, but only prolonged contact will result in any sort of injury.
Accident prone.
Ends up in way too many embarrassing situations. For instance, he has absolutely no idea how to talk to women without fucking up completely.
