• You can call him Zane, Prof, or even Apollo--he doesn't mind being on a first name basis with his students. You probably shouldn't call him Polly, but he's a grown man that really doesn't care what you call him.
  
  
• Some kids just go bad. Born to a reputable family on the island, Apollo ran away from home at 13 after an argument with his father. He joined a criminal ring, Crush Claw, and he built himself a rap sheet that'd make the nastiest mob boss go damn son.
  
  
• The cops caught up to him when he was 24--or it'd be more accurate to say that he make contact with them. Apollo was an informant, eventually assisting a police raid that'd bring an end to the Claws once and for all. It wasn't that he'd grown a conscience; he just wanted to play his cards right.
  
  
• Apollo was actually a power player in the Claws, one of the strongest voices in their inner circle, but he made sure to take out anyone that could've testified to that in the police raid.
  
  
• He was given a moderate sentence: one year, which turned out to be only six months behind bars and six months on parole after good behavior.
  
  
• Once released, he was a police detective for two years. He was good at his job, but the formalities chafed. Through connections, he wound up with a teaching position at AU, which he much prefers.
  
  
• He teaches general intro courses as per usual, but his specialty is strategy and tactics. He teaches Status Ailments and Battle Modes.
