Astariel is a relatively fresh (and by fresh I mean maybe a year or so) graduate from Atlaea, throwing himself onto the educational scene as one of its coordinating instructors. Being about as lazy as this plotter, but not entirely irresponsible, he resembles a man stuck in his rebellious phase of adolescence. He isn't particularly attached to his family's name and prestige, but respects it and loves his siblings enough to not bring any shame to it. FRIENDSHIPS. Drinking buddies, professor buddies, delinquent high school/college buddies, yadda yadda. He's a gruff guy who can get pretty morbid and grim at times, but if you can look past his punkish airs of ambiguity, is pretty chill so long as you don't cross any lines. Detached but much like a neighborhood friendly stray dog, he'll probably be your partner in crime if you just ask. ENEMIES. Rivals and bad blood from high school are a possibility, since he used to be a bit more belligerent in the past. As for why he went around starting fights, I suppose it was either something family-related or for the heck of it. Those with fragile hearts may not necessarily be enemies, but might not like him very much since his words can sound harsh and biting. RELATIONSHIPS. I have no idea what's going on here, to be honest. Flings, crushes, exes, one night stands and  etc. are all plausible options with Astariel. Do note that being one of the Aeribors, though, he does place a high value on loyalty and integrity, so he's not the type to cause drama with cheating and whatnot when he ever is in a relationship.  The one definitive thing I can say for this is that he had at least one really close significant other who probably is the one who made him change from a combat major to a coordinating major. Whether they're still together now or not, it could be plotted out?

Okay. They're close to the same age and they both graduated from this university only to join up back in it as a teacher. Sam because they just kept asking and Asta because... well, because he wanted to / had nothing better to do. I read that he was a bit in the 'bad' scene growing up. Sam was the type in high school who was pretty much everywhere. he'd get high if he wanted, he'd study hard, he made great grades but also liked doing stupid things. So basically, I think these two would have been in the same 'scene/cliche' at some point, and maybe even befriended each other. Sam is really morbid in his sense of humor, so he might even think that Asta is hilarious. xD

IDEK. Maybe when I get Sam's plotter up you can think more? His APP is up if you wanted to check there. I'm just thinking that Asta could be a regular at the club Sam frequented because of his mother? idk. <3

Yes to all of these things happening. Being at least aware of each other in their high school years, if not the occasional smack-down delivery duo. Ast probably wasn't as bad, so he might not have hung in the same crowd very frequently enough for them to be like super close compadres, though. I could see Ast being a club regular as well, maybe just to chill out every now and then moreso than because of Sam's mom or something becuse that's pretty awkward (to me anyways). B:

Since Sam is a newer teacher than him, he can expect harassment from Ast when he's bored on a daily basis, too, randomly crashing in on his classes and stuff. And then they terrify the students with their macabre humor. As familiar faces on campus, maybe being coworkers will turn that past acquaintanceship into a glorious friendship of dorks.

I'm really excited. All of this sounds like magic. I'm totally okay with all these ideas and they should have some fun with them students. LOL
