Hm, that makes better sense than what I had imagined. I think we can work with them being comfortable working with each other, but I understand that it'd be a little bit difficult for them to interact since neither of them are good at doing it but in different ways. In a sense, she's a little better off than him because she'd do her best to be friendly back to a friendly person even though it might not work out. Also, Airi would understand that he'd be really uncomfortable if she just started talking to him randomly or annoyingly. In fact, the awkward silences might not get resolved for a while. Still, it'd be an honor to have my character work together with Colton not only to run the flower shop but also to improve their social skills.

Perhaps, there can be a solid start to this development by having Airi write or text him short, concise notes instead of talking to him directly because it'd be so difficult and weird to talk to him directly. Writing or texting or even IMing is easier for Airi too because she can monitor how much she says to him in those notes. During work, though, if the two ever talk, they would probably remain strictly business if they ever do manage to talk. Thus, I believe that writing, or even texting since we've gotta stay with the times, would also remain strictly business. In the meanwhile, while Airi wouldn't be too close to him, there would be an appreciation of how hard Colton works. She won't tell him why but maybe she'd work overtime when the shop is really busy so he wouldn't overwork himself. It's just a precaution though; the Seadra's smart enough a cookie to gauge his limits anyway.

About Hiruka, Airi loves her to bits but she'd do her best to calmly stop her from scolding Colton or being too curious and gently lead her to the back and a safe distance away, but working as close to that area as she possibly can.  She wants to leave a good impression on her boss and she won't force him to accommodate to her family relationships as much as they mean to her (but like a bank, there has to be giving on both sides). Of course, she might ask for some time off to cultivate her personal relationships, but three days at most and definitely not at the same time, and only if the Florges works hard enough to deserve it.

COLTON & AIRI - Actually, despite everything, I think Colton would prefer face-to-face conversation over text message if he could, since phones are so impersonal. But I actually like the idea of them leaving sticky notes around the store for each other because that's pretty adorable. I'm totally down for that. And we can probably get away with doing it in the technology board because its totally a means of communication...

Then, Post Its and face-to-face convo it is (Post Its are totally legit)! Also, while Airi isn't inclined to be a complete flatterer, I think she'll openly admire his flower-arranging abilities and aspire to be like him. Last but not least, what kind of thread do you think we should have, and where should it be?

i can see these two making a friendship work. they are the same age and in the same major, so naturally they will have some classes together. both of them are 'wallflower' characters, not really standing out or anything compared to their peers. perhaps the friendship is first formed out of a mutual understanding that they have no one else to really hang out with, and they grow to be close over time? lusha would honestly love having her around just so she didn't have to be alone. i could see them going to parties together and such, and even studying together even if they don't speak the whole time. sometimes it's just nice to have someone to sit with. while lusha doesn't have as many siblings as cassie does, she knows what its like to be the one that gets a tad overlooked.

CASSANDRA & LUSHA - Welp, as much as Cassie doesn't stand out, she totally aspires to, plus, she's the kind who would do pretty much anything for popularity. So, honestly, I can see these two getting along. Cassie wants as many friends as she can have, and Lusha is absolutely adorable, so there's an added bonus.

yay! i like this. if she tries everything she can to stand out, maybe they can both make it their mission to start getting noticed? lusha would be a bit hesitant at first, but she wants to come into her own and get out of her shell. this seems like a good way to go about it. are we going to have them already kinda know each other, or do you want to stage a new meeting?

CASSANDRA & LUSHA - Sounds good to me. If they're both freshmen, they probably know each other a little, just from having a few classes together at some point as healing majors. I doubt they know much about each other from that, though, other than names. They could always work on a group project together or something and realize they get along really well? And then end up hanging out even more afterwards? or we can skip straight to the afterwards, like them getting a snack or whatever after working all day on a project??
